Tree plantation in Bangladesh

Tree plantation, that means planting tree more and more.  Without trees it is not possible to lead a happy and peaceful life.  More suitable for the growth and development of forest is lands in the upper valley of a river. But Bangladesh is a country of lower reverie. That is why, it has no rich forest resources. Forest resources constitute with the forest Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bhawal, Madhupur, and the Sundarbans in Bangladesh.

There are some people of Bangladesh,cut down trees every where inconsiderately . Those man do not think the destruction of forests can destroy the environmental system. it may cause of deforestation. At present, Bangladesh is at the risk of turning into a desert. Beside this, it may also face the problems of soil erosion, flood, drought etc. It is a great threat for environment.

There is ample scope for a forestation in Bangladesh. Sea beaches, low lying areas and follow lands can be brought under the scheme of afforestation with special types of trees suited to the soil. June July is the best time for planting trees.

Trees play an important rule in our daily life. In order to live men need oxygen. Trees give that oxygen. They give foods and fruits. They also provide us shelter.  Timbers are collected from trees and without timber it cannot be made house, furniture, boats, launches, ship etc in Bangladesh. If trees are planted on the banks of rivers and sea-shores, soil erosion can be prevented. Tree also prevents air pollution. Trees protect the country from the harmful greenhouse effect.

To preserve the environment, Bangladeshi people should plant more and more trees. Tree plantation program should be expanded to the remote corner of the country. The officers should be connected with this program and they should take proper steps and needful measures to make it success. Government should take necessary steps to make the people interested in planning trees.

Trees are very important for human lives. The necessary of trees and importance of tree plantation cannot be ignored in any way. So it is should be the bounden duty to plant trees more and care of them.
